Posted Image Willow Got the picture and the following message from my younger (38) daughter. Hi Everyone, Meet my new lil girl; Willow. She is one and half yrs old and of course she is a Bichon. Her owner could not take care of her anymore. Apparently the owners daughter had a stroke while delivering her baby. The daughter is doing better and is expected a full recovery but in the meantime the lil Bichon was being neglected. When I went to pick her up she was being kept in the basement : ( without any food or water during the day because they were afraid she would have an accident (as if it really matters in the basement). It wasn't love at first sight (very hyper, pent up energy) but by the time bed time rolled around and she snuggled up (so, so close) I was basically in love. Today is the first day I left her at the apartment by herself. I will see when I get home how she did. So far no accidents in the house and yes, I keep food and water down for her at all times. Kokee met her after I picked her up and he really liked her. He was so showing off, running all over like a young whipper snapper. I think they will be good friends when they are together. I absolutely love her and can't wait for you all to meet Willow. She is a sweet girl. Love, Tara . |

How adorable. I love rescuing dogs, they appreciate you so much more than they would have if you had been the first owner. At least, mine do. |

Oh he is so cute jezzie. Another Willow...my cat is Willow!!! One of my friends has gotten sick and she has 2 dogs and the female just had 6 puppies. They are darlings. She is probably going to have to go to an apartment and i can see problems coming. It certainly is wonderful when animals can be rescued and given a loving home. |
