Hey erka thanks for taking care of yesterday. I had a lovely day. The wedding was so very nice and I had some tears as it was so very touching. Here is a couple, who have both lost spouses..he is 70, she 68. I wish them many happy years of joy and sharing 049 049 049

It is going to be VERY hot in the Wack today...+36 12whoohooo My son and I are going golfing at 1. The course is on the mountain side so lots of trees and maybe a bit on the cooler side.

You all enjoy your day. cheering213

grp031 Hi Agate grp031

A lovely new coffee shop. cheering213

I'd love a double skinny mocha please, and even tho
it is a very hot day, I'd like it extra hot.

I also am wishing the happy couple many more years together.
It is never too late for happiness and love.

It is a beautiful hot sunny day here in the S. E. corner of B.C.
It is 39c on the back deck, which of course gets the direct afternoon sun.
In the front in the shade, it is only 29c.
The air conditioner is on, yesterday aft and evening too.

Hubby & I have been for a morning walk, had a reg coffee
at the KRC (Kootenay Roasting Company)
Where our Grandson is apprenticing in coffee bean roasting.
He also works making and serving coffee.

Then we walked all over town, staying on the level, and the shady sides of the street. 47 minutes in all, and I am feeling
good. Not in terrible pain.
Of course, we did take the bus home.

Have a good Sunday.

am not a Sunday person so it iw with double pleasure that I
visit your coffee shop for a scrukptious skinny mocha late
& maybe q brioche if you have one.
Gloomy mornings don't excite me or motivate me to
be particularly productive. staying indoors because of the
fire poor air quality isn't helpful so maybe i can have tweo
cups of coffee & I will put my feet up & listen to some good music
Have a great week.

Mati glad to hear you are feeling up today and may it continue 038

WOW have we had a hot day here in the Wack...as i type at 9pm it is still +30. I will hear later on the for sure record that must have been hit today.

I had a lovely breakfast with the newlyweds yeah199 then my son arrived an we where off to the golf course. Yes it was hot but we did have a cart and lots of water. It was a huge 3000 yard course. I am just not up to playing that long of yardage. I usually do executive or par 3's. Took five hours to do and then we had a delish dinner out on the patio. What a super birthday treat I had cheering213

I will be in, in the morning to get the coffee on and then off to the cabin for the week.

Enjoy your evening 1mr

Hi Everyone who visits the Coffee Bar.

grp031 Always up for my skinny mocha. grp031

I had a great morning of walking,
now must pay bills, do books and filing this afternoon.
Hate that job, (oh, have I mentioned that before???? lol)
hate it every 2 weeks.

Also will start some laundry.

I'm glad you had a great birthday Agate. You deserve it.

Enjoy your week away, will be back for a skinny mocha
when you come back.

Thanks for the encouragement in the weight forum.

Wishing Everyone a Happy Canada Day, 023

Happy Canada day!! Returned from an over night in Seattle to pick up my grandson. We will walk down to the park (high point) to see the Canada Day fireworks at Burrard Inlet at 10:30 tonight.

Agate: That is a great love story re: wedding of your friends. Guess it is never too old to fall in love.

I will grab a skinny mocha - have to stay awake for the fireworks tonight.

blue wave32 The rain is back and the air smells so good! BUT the hot weather can come back soon I hope! That was so nice!
I was in WA state for a few hours and went into a book store and they offered me the best coffee ever... a Cinnamon Dolce Latte! Is there one around I could have please? Went to a Starbucks that is now in our Safeway store and they want almost 5 dollars for a medium sized cup! Disgusting... Wonder where I can get it here in the Fraser Valley that does not cost an arm and a leg? ::o:
Hope you are all having a great day . Canada Day was so nice we went to Fort Langley for a few hours but had to leave the mosquitoes were pretty mean! (Why didn't Noah leave them behind??????) 102

I am the part timer when Agate is taking a much needed week off. Skinny and regular mocha and ice tea for all who visits. Strawberry season is here and you know what that means - strawberry shortcake in the fridge.

Hello: $5.00 for a coffee is too rich for me too. I bought an expresso machine to make my own latte - doesn't take long for it pay for itself.

Agate: Enjoy your week at the cabin.

Mati, Safta, LilDarling: Thinking of you.

Good Evening Erka and Hello.

I'll be happy to sit and enjoy a skinny mocha with you.

About the cost, yes, it is way too high.
Still, I load my Starbuck's card every couple of months
with $50, and try to make it last.

I don't spend money on much, and I can't have much in
fast foods or treat foods,
So for me, that is my treat, my way of saying to myself,
"you've been working hard, you are doing well, and by golly
girl, you are worth it.

I try to have it at the most only once a week, and only on
weeks that I have maintained, lost, or put in a great effort.

But I sure wish someone would make it cheaper.

I do have an old esspresso machine downstairs.
But having it out, limits me to one, and only having
a slimming one.

Agate, hoping you are having a wonderful week at the cottage.

Erka, thanks for thinking of me.

Enjoy our summer, it is too short.

Good Morning 024 to All who Frequent the Coffee Bar.

It is a nice fresh morning here. We woke up to thunderstorms, and decided to just stay in bed.

Now we are late to begin our day.

grp031 I'd really like a skinny mocha,
If you happen to drop in Erka. grp031

I had better get out for a bit of a walk, as we are in
a Severe Thunder Storm Watch, better take an umbrella,
and prepare to take the bus home.
OR
Just walk in the neighborhood.

Thanks for the coffee.
Have a good weekend.

Happy 4th of July to all my American Friends.

It is a wet drizzly day. It was hot and too humid the last few days and hopefully the rain will wash away the humidity.

Grandson is visiting. Now that he is almost 10, it is not as tiring. New families moved into the neighbourhood and he is having a great time with new and old friends. Bought him a used bike so he can ride with them (and tire himself out!!)

Safta: Hope you had a nice July 4th.

Mati: Got you email.

Hello: Look into Brodie's thead re: geranium weed (or similar title). The wild plant "herb robert" is suppose to be a mosquito repellent.

Coffee, lattes and ice tea for anyone who visits (didn't realize how much work Agate did to keep the cafe going!!). Here is another strawberry shortcake (chocolate this time) for all.
