Is anyone having or had problems with loading images from Photobucket? I normally use this service a lot, but recently have had a bit of a problem loading the image code. I cut and paste from the album as usual, but when I paste it onto the post in the forum ..... it appears to be ok in the editing/posting box , but when I hit preview nothing shows........ ohmy 03 |

Great ... you have just confirmed what I thought odd ... nothing shows in preview ... I think one needs to contact photobucket support ... their support team is excellent in resolving issues and deal with them right away. My account was once hijacked last year and we had it resolved within a couple of days. |

Thanks Toodles ......... I thought I was going nuts. It seems to have been resolved now and everything seems to be back to normal. One other thing I'm not so happy about since Photobucket did their new and improved upgrade I haven't been able to display embedded thumbnail/enlargement images. When I use that option it displays the image on the album page and gives access to other images at the same time which is what I'm not happy about. Older thumbnail/enlargement posts still work as intended. In the meantime I'm having to edit each image as IMG but reduced in size. |

Yes, so have I but I can't remember what the problems were. I think I copied the image code but even though it said copied in that yellow thing - it wasn't copied. I had to go back and highlight the code and do Control+C to copy it. |

It is a little scary. I just wanted to upload some personal photos to Photobucket today with the idea to share them with some posters here by way of pm, and now I am beginning to have second thoughts. That's a pretty scary thing to have your account hijacked, Toodle. Does anyone here know of a safer host? Your suggestions will be much appreciated. Mike |

It has been a LONG time since I visited Photobucket. I had best go lest they cancel my account for non-use. |

Photobucket is still working for us! My daughter has the hundreds of photos from her watercolour painting site on it: http://www.telusplanet.net/~jchbrown/ |

delphi those are lovely paintings, and a very nice site. Reading some of the pages sounds like familiar places to me. Right now I am typing up some tapes made by my partners 80 year old father. He grew up in those areas. |
