And everyone clerk who works in any bank you deal with knows your name, your address, the account numbers of all you accounts, your telephone number, your social security number, your mother's maiden name and your date of birth, your height, weight and eye color. What more information can you possibly leak over the internet? |

As a former bank employee . we are also bonded and when I worked I signed a confidentiality agreement. Also, when someone wants account information over the phone .. we ask that person the color of their hair, their eyes, height & age including a host of other questions ... if the information does not match what we have on record, then no information is given out. And yes, customers would get angry because such questions were asked and said "you have all info. so why ask". I guess security did not enter their minds. :( |
