ONCE AGAIN ARMISTICE DAY IS UPON US, AND AS EACH YEAR PASSES IT BRINGS WITH IT LESS OF THE BRAVE EX-SOLDIERS AS ONE BY ONE THEY PASS AWAY, SUCH AS THE TWO WORLD WWW1 VETERANS WE SADLY LOST THIS YEAR HENRY ALLINGHAM AND HARRY PATCH. Every year, there are fewer and fewer veterans. I noticed that last few years, the boys scouts have been doing the poppy drive in this area. Glad the scouts are contributing to the rememberance. |
