Reading this story was a great way to begin the day. What a kind and caring act on the part of a homeless man.

Reading that has brought tears to my eyes, how can anyone be so cruel and nasty to treat a dog that way, I do hope that they vetted this "family" properly before reuniting this dog with them, and can guarantee they had nothing to do with it. As for the homeless man who gallantly came to her rescue, I wish him the best of luck for his future, he deserves it, and hope he gets rewarded with a new home, and to help get him off the street.
