R.I.P. Boy at 22 years of age. Survived by his mother Bebe and canine best friend Becky. He was a cat who was gentle of nature and sweet of face and who remained ever hopeful. Boy was much admired and loved by the humans who knew him.

What a great age Boy lived to Fuzzyo. You had so many memorable years with him. How old is Bebe? No doubt Bebe and Becky will both miss Boy for some time to come.

Please accept my condolences.

Take care,
Pat

Fuzzy - for the years to come you may wake in the night to enjoy once again the love you shared with Boy. You need to mourn now and look back with joy later. I think we all share your sorrow.

I got a grave yard here each one has a headstone, a beach stone with a flat side that I can wright something on. Two were shot with pellet guns. But what gets me are the ones that go away to die.
Had one here the had it's tail cut off ; the two boys that did it did a messy job and the poor cat suffered. The RCMP told the SPCA it got stuck in a rabbit snare.
Any domastic animal will not hurt a human, the same way humans hurt them. They are full of love , it's their nature ! 527 :catlove:

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. It's good to be in a community that "gets" cats.

Gpldengal, Bebe is 23 and so far is in pretty good shape. You really wouldn't know she is an elderly cat by looking at her. She and Becky are both a bit subdued at present. Me too.

Wow...23!!! What a great age. What kind of cat is it? The longest I have had a cat was 18 years.
The two I have now are 10 years :catlove: They are sisters. We will be in serious trouble if Isis is gone first as Willow
runs around crying her heart out when she can't find her sister.

Agate Bebe is a domestic longhair, very attractive grey and white tabby. She may have some Maine coon in her. It's hard to tell if she is missing her son. She seems quite as usual, but yesterday evening she meowed in a voice that I haven't heard before, so it may have been a summons.
