Singapore Botanical Gardens; Orchid Heaven

The Singapore Botanic Gardens have been developed around the central reservoir, a wildlife safari park, and a second growth tropical jungle area. For me, being an orchid fancier, the Orchidarium and Mist House are certainly not to be missed. Here Singapore's 700 species of orchids can be seen in all their full glory in a natural setting. it really is impressive.

I would never have guessed there would be 700 species of orchids. That is amazing. I adore orchids. The red and yellow you have posted is so beautiful. I have never seen anything like it. I can only dream of seeing a place as beautiful as that. wub
