Adrenalin boost anyone?

This is my only experience with a bungee ...... at Taupo, over the Waikato River ......

You walk out along the walkway which is exactly like a springboard over a diving pool .... the supervisor checks your weight and attaches the cords ..... which way do you want to go? Just step off? or swallow dive? Heart pounding, feel a bit like 'walking the plank' with the assistant holding the sword at my back! God! I hope my joints stay together ...... one, two, three ........ step off into space!

See that wee boat way down there? That's going to collect me dangling upside down, yelling my head off ...... and take me back to the bank, and I'll have a bit of a climb to the top of the cliff through the bush.

The platform viewed from a distance along the cliff top.

Once is enough, I've done it!
