Yeah but what if you are a passenger sitting in the back seat and wanted to use the phone for emergency purposes or if you have been stowed in the trunk? That's the job of the police to prevent not apps. |

Is this for real? Campy is correct, what if you are a passenger in a car, or in a boat or on a plane. What if you need to contact authority in an emergency, for instance, your wife is having a baby while you are speeding to the hospital. |

Here in Ontario its illegal to use a cell phone while driving. There is an exception if you need to make a 911 call. eg following a hit and run driver. |
