Daughter gave me an iPhone. So now I'm d/l data, ie apps, weather, etc as well as texting and receiving calls. Neither daughter nor person who sold her the phone can explain to me how I can monitor the amounts of data I have downloaded. Does anyone have any suggestions? Calling customer service seems to be a nightmare, particularly since the phone is in her name not mine. Thanks. |

Depends what company the contract is with I imagine. I am with Rogers and on their site I have access to my usage anytime I want. I have no idea about other companies. Are you worried about keeping tract of the minutes used or of your Internet usage? |

I don't know the answer since I don't use a smart phone but I expect there is an all that will monitor usage and keep some king of totals. I would start with a search of the app store. |

Yes, I use a Bell cell phone and I can check my usage at their web site. To do so, I had to register and setup a user name and password! |

Exactly. Daughter says that Bell sends her nothing about usage, just debits account monthly. She seems to have no idea what for. (Two degrees, a career & family etc but sometimes I wonder when it comes to finances! :-) ) |

OK. Maybe I can set something up which we can both monitor. Thanks, wildie. |

My cell service is Verizon. The phone I have has a menu. If I scroll through the menu I find "recent calls" . This list all calls missed ,received, dialed out, along with a number of minutes used. |
