I was shopping in the dollar store and noticed a card reader for $2.

I didn't understand what it was supposed to do but I bought one anyway to study it further at home.

It has four slots for different cards and a small USB cable attached.

This means I can take the card reader with me and it will read the micro chip in my cell phone.

I can then plug the USB cable into another computer to display photos or play music etc. from the micro chip.

It's also handy to take to the print processing places and print out photos.

It also means I won't wear out the slots for the cards on my computer.

Unfortunately it doesn't support the card from my older digital camera which has an XD card.

This card reader takes Micro Memory Stick (M2) Memory Stick Pro and Duo, SD. SDHC. MMC RS-MMC. RSMMCDV. MMC Plus. MMC Mobile. Micro SD.

Can't go too far wrong for $2. Card readers are very convenient, saves plugging in USB cables to cameras and other devices. I have slots on my computer, laptop, and printer so I can access almost anything.

Card readers were never expensive. I bought one year's ago for less than $20.00. They are great for downloading pictures to the small cards for taking for prints at the commercial establishments, if you don't have some spare memory sticks..

I bought mine for less than ten bucks! It can't read micro SD so I have to use an adapter.
For two bucks, how can you go wrong?
