What's your favourite chicken recipe?

Last week I had a friend over for dinner and remembered just in time that he is lactose intolerant, so I couldn't make chicken paprikash. I had a real craving for it so made it for myself the next day, though I realised it isn't really the chicken I like, it's the sauce and spaetzle or noodles. What's your favourite way to prepare chicken?

I love paprikash too.

But during BBQ season my fav is to marinate boneless, skinless (must be plump) chicken breasts in olive oil, lemon juice ( I like quite a bit) lemon zest and oregano. Then grill on BBQ. Serve with mushroom risotto.

I like that too, except that I do it with dill instead of oregano Must try the oregano!

Grilled legs, no flavouring except coarse salt. Most chicken breast tastes like cardboard.

Chicken a la King.

Use potato chips instead of breading.

FuzzyO your chicken dish sounds delsih.
My favorite is a currey sauce over chicken & brocolli and served with rice. The recipe calls for chicken breast but I use the thigh as I like that part the best biggrin 04

I'm with you Agate, the thigh is the best part. The curry dish sounds good, anything with broccoli appeals to me. I also like to make chicken cacciatore, and I usually use thighs for that.

Guess everyone wants their own Trudashians
My fave is curried chicken, it's a sweeter curry because I put Major Grey chutney in it with apples and sometimes raisins. If I use coconut milk I don't add the chutney.

My youngest is coming out this weekend so is going to do chicken legs with Garam Masala. I have some around but it's years old so will have to out and get some more. I wish I could by roti here, we love it with curry.

Yes, a flat bread. I used to buy it fresh and warm on Gerrard St. E. but it's too far to go now :)-

Friends of ours from Trinidad used to serve up a good curry (including goat) always with home made roti.

We can buy roti, but pre-packaged, in the supermarket. Would be lovely to get it from a baker!

I wish!
Small towns aren't as good that way, not as much variety, although Metro is getting better.
