http://www.durgan.org/URL/?KQWSQ 23 June 2012 Cooking nuts and seeds Being an advocate that nuts and seeds are a desirable food, and that the body utilizes better if cooked, this is my method.I eat as a cereal or just a snack as desired. It is tasty and nourishing. You will not find this commercially or in the Canadian Food Guide. The ingredients are varied depending what is available in the bulk food store. |

To my mind, cooking and mooshing all those delicious and VERY EXPENSIVE ingredients together into a puree would be like painting over a Rembrandt with a roller. I would much more appreciate the individual tastes of walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds. yeah199 (I just saw beautiful English Walnuts for $13.99/pound.) But I could skip the flax seeds because to my taste buds they taste pretty much like dirt. biggrin 04 Edited by Trotsky, Jun 25 2012, 03:09 AM.

I dont like flax seeds either. I went through a 'healthy' period where I ground them on everything I ate, thereby ruining some very expensive steak. |
