http://www.durgan.org/URL/?QGIWO 24 June 2012 Glob. This morning I saw Glob one and touched and it was soft and sticky sort of like pizza dough. I sort of assumed that is was the beginnings of a monster puff ball and left it to grow. Later in the afternoon, I saw another (Glob two)at the front of the house a hundred yards distance and on completely different mulch from another source.I never saw such before, and I use to collect mushrooms in various places. Both areas are very dry. May be a gourmets delight when pristine, one could cook it like a pancake. Any Ideas? |

From the looks of it I would not feed it to anyone I love, it is gross looking and does not at all look like puffballs I have picked. |

Interesting, certainly has an appropriate name ...... maybe after originating in Florida the climate changes may have allowed it to adapt to conditions much further north? |

We had vomit fungus quite often in the Philadelphia suburbs. and it came in the mulch. So far we haven't seen it here in the west. |
