A friend of mine, who I'll call "Dave" (because that was his name) said he would do anything to avoid A-level revision. At one point he infamously found himself weighing the cat, convinced that he would only be able to settle down to work if he had that data to hand. As a result, some 25 years later, the act of procrastination is referred to by my family as "weighing the cat". Ian Whitten, Sittingbourne, Kent

Ouch! Amusing, but a lot of those stories hit too close to home.

I have a summer blouse that needs a few tacking type stitches, maybe 6 in total.....
I brought it out to do this year, after leaving it hanging all summer last year to do, didn't get done then and may not get done now tho it is hanging next to the big screen and kinda hard to miss and just plain forget. Summer's almost over for this year...dunno...

What's your worst or best example?

Ever since I read about the shingles vaccine on this forum I have been intending for John and me to get a shot. That must have been over a year ago. So, every once in a while I'd think about suggesting it and then put it off. Sure enough, John just came down with shingles.

Also Ihave a winter boot in the kitchen that I'm supposed to try on. It sits there month in and month out ... and will until the first snow when I'll find that it doesnt fit.

Nothings gonna change me now.
