I posted something that was not understood by one of the moderators in http://s7.zetaboards.com/Worldwide_Seniors/topic/8734822/2/#new, post #26. Explanation for all who do not understand the reason why. As I was reading FG's post I noticed her avatar, I do notice FG's and DT's as they are usually of the insulting and rude type, but the attempts are quite funny at times. I noticed that FG's avatar was attacking the Trudeau name, and thought that they were mighty afraid of Justin becoming leader of the Liberals as he has a long way to go to achieve that position. The term Trudeaumania reminded me of Harperitist and the side effects that this was causing; thus my post. And Harperitist gives you a big pain in the a . . ; last word is ass just in case it was not understood. Though the avatars can be amusing and revealing it occurred to me that to anyone not a member and not knowledgeable about the forum it would probably deter them from joining, maybe. Forgive me, it was just a response to FG's avatar, and I guess avatars are under the domain of control by the admin staff and really none of my business. Have a nice TGIF. |

My response to the rudeness on forums is the ignore button. That does still allow for some quoted posts to leak through but not the rude avatars or bylines. I often wonder about what people post in forums about themselves. Is rudeness something to admire in some circles? Is it something not seen as rude and insulting, even before a word is said or written? Those things do come across as a goad but all it does for me is . |

First of all, rudeness is not limited to the right on here, in fact the left occupies much of that arena along with the profane end of it, but fails to recognize their own shortcomings, and guess what, you are doing it now !! You know - de-nile is a river in Egypt. In fact you are one of the worst for snide remarks, baiting and trolling, so when you point a finger two point back at you. Posted Image Secondly, the avatar has nothing to do with Trudeau, it's to do with Romney and Big Bird... I put the wording about Trudeau in my profile as anyone can. There's nothing rude about the avatar or my wording. Signature lines - well I have them turned off because many of them are rude and attacks on conservatives, but you too can turn off avatars, signatures and graphics if you wish to. But never fear, the posse will be along shortly to set us all straight. attached is a larger version Edited by friendshipgal, Oct 13 2012, 04:12 AM.

exactly.gif :good post: Maybe some people should read up on the differences between avatars and profile titles. (I guess FSG you'll be able to read this , but not the other 2 since they probably have me on ignore, :crying: biggrin 04 ) Edited by Dialtone, Oct 13 2012, 04:30 AM.

That's a bit rich says Fuzzyo ohmy 03 A bit rich LOL - but quid pro quo you know, which is most of the time on my part, we know who actually started the latest 'slanging match' Surprised at what, that some people don't know the difference between profile titles and avatars, apparently they don't know. Again, what exactly is rude about the big bird avatar which is quite humorous actually. If you want rude, check out the profanity and rudeness and it's not from the right. The topic was Avatars, it wasn't the avatar that Darcie had her panties in a knot about, it was the profile title. I can and do speak "snarky" when necessary so the original snarky person will understand. I've been told by another snarky poster that I have reading comprehension problems, (geez nobody commented that it was beneath her) but I did notice I was mentioned in the original post as having avatars that are rude and insulting as well.

I sure hope it continues to spin, or it will probably be Harper's fault if it doesn't. laugh123 |

That's debatable as the world has tilted before.....and may do so, soon again due to inaction on climate change. Yes, we will blame harperites in Canada as they have the helm at the moment. |

The world will 'tilt' regardless of what humans do, it's inevitable, it always had cycled, always will... but of course Harper is to blame LOL |
