It bothered me that a member thinks it is only the same old gang who posts all the time. Perhaps that individual has not added up the percentage of posts that come from the top ten posters of the day .... but it does not add up to 100% so yes, there are some of us who post here as well. Unfortunately, the thread was closed before I could speak. Any new member reading that thread would get the impression it is an 'in group' here so why bother trying to break through? Not all of us spend as much time on the computer, and so often life gets in the way, and there are more important issues to address. Also, there are days/periods when I read and have nothing to add to a subject., and likely it is much the same for other members. So often we learn just by reading. Take care, Pat |

I belong to 3 different dog boards. Two of them I have not posted on in years, but I read daily. Why? Because I learn so much from the posters. The other board I post on infrequently, and usually only when a dog or cat who has been lost is returned to their owner. I belong to no other discussion boards other than WWS, and I have likely said previously I feel as comfortable here as I did on 50Plus. There is such a great mix of people, and very little squabbling, but then that happens in real life too. Thanks again Kahu for giving us this wonderful outlet to meet and greet. Take care, Pat |

Thanks so much, ladies. I'm really appreciating my mother today. She lived to be 90. The "top 10 posters of the day" kind of suggests a lot of posting is good, but I don't think that is true. A smaller number of good ones is better than a lot of short snappers for sure. No one is thinking of deleting quiet members. I do hope you all post once in a while, though. |
