So, you still got power?

Yeah,

We never lost power, not even cable or internet went down, although the Southern half of Manhatran did and portions of the outer boroughs.

Goofy though, after the storm was long past, we lost telephone service last night for about 5 hours.

Other than that nothing.

We went for a walk yesterday morning to survey the damage and our timiing was bad because we got hit with a maelstorm of a final remnant and squished our way home.

Yeah, but Letterman has done two nights to an empty theater.
We went to the theater last night, the Longacre Theater on West 48th St. Mostly full house for THE PERFORMERS. You never can tell though how much was "papered," i.e. free tickets. (Real tickets were $120)
Letterman is shot abouut 4 blocks away.

The streets around Broadway were pretty much mobbed as usual.

Problem is that there are no subways running South of 34th St. because of the combo of flooding and lack of electricity.

I just figured out how to change the clock on the car radio, so I've already done it. One down, a bunch to go.

I collect clocks Bitsy.
So?

Do they all have to have the right time?

I changed one early by mistake and somehow I can remember that it was one hour slow. Amazing deduction.

Ah come on Trotsky. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

But I am a time freak on my wristwatches. They are set on short wave by the time signal from Fort Collins. Right to the second.

You and Trotsky seem to have a lot of time on your hands! N1TheSkyIsTheLimit.gif
Rather than subject the world to changing time twice a year, why don't they just float the British Isles an hour out to sea?

The idea being that Greenwich times all around the world would automatically be advanced! :cow-IthinkIamgoingmad:
