Answer to an age old question.

Mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a couple nice cold beers. The day was really

quite beautiful, and the brew facilitated some deep thinking on various topics.

Finally I thought about an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?

Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts.

Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that

Question: Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion.

A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "it might be nice to have another child."

On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."

I rest my case. Case closed. Time for another beer.

Perhaps the reason is that a kick in the nuts produces nothing but pain while having a child.....well,
on second thought, over the years raising a child isn't quite pain-free. :winking71: laugh123

Sorta like getting kicken in the nuts?

For those never kicked in the nuts, you momentarily go blind, for real...and then have to battle the urge for convulsive vomiting while curled in a tight fetal position.

Hanging testicles out in the breeze is incontovertible evidence that God is a woman.

(Next discussion: catching your penis in a zipper.)

Oh guys .... you are making me cringe. I am so glad I do not have that appendage.

When it comes to birth, I found the pain was quickly forgotten although I have known women who went on about it for years. Have to agree with Lilal though that raising a child isn't quite pain free.

Take care,
Pat

When I was pregnant I asked my mother and other older women of my aquaintance what the pain of birth was like. They all answered that once it was over you forget all about it. That was the only answer I could get out of them. Therefore, I was terrified. What I found was that they were telling the truth. Once you push out that baby the preceding hours disappear. I think that's why women are willing to have more than one baby.

Pain that is productive is quite bearable.

I have not forgotten the pain of having my second who was a breach birth. Had the last one on the promise that it would be cesarean if need be.

Some women must have a special hormone that makes them forget, I on the other hand remember every hour of every birth.
