OK. They are not elderly, but they are litter mates who were found as 6 week old strays in October and taken to the shelter with their sister. They were fostered out, but got sick and returned to the shelter. Hopefully these guys are now well. Their sister was adopted yesterday. PLEASE HELP US NAME THEM. They are both 7 month old, very active males. We have considered and discarded Romulus and Remus, Sacco and Vanzetti, Woodward and Bernstein, Haldemann and Erlichman....for obvious reasons.....so please make suggestions....we are out of ideas.Posted Image Posted Image |

I knew it would happen! They are lovely, and I am so glad you have two, they are so entertaining and will be happy to have another to play with. |

Since they are blond maybe they could be named after the Viking Gods, Thor and Odin. |

BJ, I am so happy for you and for those two adorable little guys. They will enjoy each other's company, have someone to play with, eat with, and someone to cuddle up and sleep with. I was thinking of jewels to name them after, but can't quite see any similar coloured to the boys in my mind. Ginger also comes to mind, but is that a female name? Topaz comes to mind, but not sure what color that is. I like Onyx, but that is black isn't it? Then there is amber, again, girly. Enjoy every moment. Congratulations on the new members of your family. |

It's amazing how bold they were in the shelter, but we are taking the shelter manager's advice and keeping them in the downstairs bathroom which is the photos shown here. They seem pretty nervous though the smaller one did come out and sniff me when i sat on the floor, and allow himself to be petted. They are also playing with toys. |

I am leaning towards Calvin and Hobbes but John is leaning towards Stan and Ollie. I am a little worried because they are not eating. They were eating kitten chow but we bought the best organic food our natural pet store carries and they won't touch it. However, they are getting used to me. Now when I go into the bathroom, they roll over for tummy rubs :) |

Don't worry, they will eat when they are ready. They've had a lot of big changes in one day. In terms of names they can quickly learn to recognise I think Stan and Ollie win out.

I cast my vote for Calvin and Hobbes but both are good choices. |
