Dana that was great however the problem I have had with all my cats is that the kill birds, especially the one I have now, I love them otherwise

That was amazing, Dana. Never saw a cat not go after a bird before. and that cat looks exactly like our little HarryHoudini who we rescued at the same time as Pandora.

It sounds like when Marley arrived the bird was already a resident so the cat does know he shouldn't be pals with the bird. The owner said she goes out and leaves them alone.
