Can you tell how annoyed they are? Brought up laundry, dumped it on the bed to put away. Answered phone, did some other things and by the time I got back to put away the laundry, the laundry was "occupied." This is why I get nothing done! Posted Image |

There's nothing like a cat on something like your laundry or on the bed when you want to change it or just plain make it. Looks like you have an interesting pair BJ |

If you keep posting pictures of your cats I'm going to have to go out and get one. They are simply gorgeous. |

My cat was only happy if she was on the newspaper I was trying to read, or between me and my book or also draped over those old monitors. It was as if she was saying, here I am, see me I am more interesting. |

Helen - my advice....go to your local shelter and adopt an older cat.....these kittens are too much for people our age and older cats are much harder to place. |

I'm concerned about the bending down to empty litter box. Getting rather frail (: |

I understand, Helen. If you really want a cat, how about placing a litter box on a coffee table height table? |

Ain't that the truth. The smallest coin I will bend down these days is a quarter. For any job involving the floor I kneel down rather than bend. BJ, Delightful picture. Are you going to stick with the names Red and Blue then? (Even with the political connotations.) Edited by Trotsky, Apr 19 2013, 06:49 AM.

Love those little ginger guys. I've had girl cats mostly but the one male I had was a sweetheart. I find kneeling very painful. It's as though my knees don't have any cushiony layer on them anymore. I have some deep bottom cupboards that need washing and painting and I have to find a way. DH had these knee pads that I will try. |

BJ: Love seeing your kitties and love reading about their antics - so much fun. We always had male cats (and female dogs). An old wives tale: male cats are more affectionate and we found this to be certainly true. Darcie: I know what you mean about cats walking on newspaper while I am reading!! |

Trotsky, it seems Red and Blue, with all the political connotations, may be appropriate names for them. Blue is by far the more affectionate, smarter of the two. I actually asked John yesterday if he thought Red was possibly deaf or mentally challenged, though right now he is purring in my lap as i try to type - Red, not john. |

So then you could try George, or GW? (Sometimes dimwitted equates with SWEET...especially with men. Trust me.) Edited by Trotsky, Apr 19 2013, 06:55 AM.
