Rescue workers in Bangladesh freed a woman buried for 17 days inside a prayer room in the wreckage of a collapsed garment factory building, as the death toll from the disaster raced past 1,000, making it one of the worst industrial tragedies in history. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2013/05/10/bangladesh-death-toll-over-1000-friday.html Over a thousand dead, it is unthinkable. And one is still alive, how remarkable. |

Its not just about western greed, it's also about just how much profit the local bosses and owners and politicians can squeeze out of their untermenschen. If those workers were paid decent wages and worked in good health and safety conditions there would not be so much 'outsourcing' done by the 'west' and they would be without jobs anyway. Who said that life was fair? |
