Crikey Dick! That was a great ad! BTW .... Cheerios here are known more as a child's party finger food, than they are as a breakfast cereal and Weetbix would certainly have the sales lead over Uncle Toby's Cheerios as a breakfast cereal! A cheerio is a smaller version, about half the size, sometimes called a cocktail sausage or a "little boy".[7] These are a popular children's party food in New Zealand and Australia, often served hot in a sweet, spicy tomato sauce. I got this canned response from General Mills but at least my comment was acknowledged. Thank you for contacting General Mills about our television advertising for Cheerios cereal. We are always interested in the opinions of our consumers and your feedback is valuable to us. We will share your comments with those responsible for Cheerios cereal advertising. We appreciate your loyalty and hope you will continue to choose our products. Sincerely, General Mills Consumer Services |

Well the world turns and progresses in spite of the bigots and racists. Those who aren't just have to be vigilant, and loud about the crap they fling. |

Funny my post was booted out. What I tried to post was. It horrified me to hear my youngest daughter make racist slurs against native people. Guess who stood by her when her marriage went wrong and threatened her job. You guessed it a native woman. |

We were waching TV last night and the commercial appeared during the show we were watching, so I guess enough people like Bitsy and me wrote to General Mills to show our support. |
