Only two of my Dahlia tubers seem to be growing and I was going to buy more, but then I realized, why bother? No point in trying to arrange flowers when the boys will just see any container or vase as something else to destroy.

And can you imagine the lifespan of a great big fragile dahlia blossom? The stopwatch would have to be calibrated in nanoseconds.

BJ they are so adorable, who doesn't love kittens. We have an interesting situation here. This is what keeps life interesting for us old folks. We have a visitor, a small white pea hen. Our cat chased her at first but the pea hen is bigger than her so now it appears like it might fight but they have an armed truce right now. Animals are so interesting to watch.

bj, they are adorable. Sorry, cant post pic of Ruckus because I don't have any. Cant work my camera and don't know how to post online. I'll keep trying.

BTW I was getting laundry out of my room the other day, searching for the source of an unpleasant odour. Checked my potted plant and sure enough, Ruckus has been using it as a handy litter when he didn't feel like going to the basement. No more plants in my room.

I should go visit you soon with my camera and take pictures. Then I can show you how to download them to the site.

When I was ordering my book I went to the US Amazon, the book (new) was $17.10
however they could not deliver to Canada so I needed to go to my Canadian Amazon acct.
the same book here is $28.49 That is nearly a $12.00 difference.

I thought the disparity in book prices was supposed to have been removed...Guess not. I did order a used copy of the book which in the States was $3.10 here it is $6.49

I hate to say this, Alli, but I bought the last used one on Amazon for $3.68. It cost more in taxes and shipping than the cost of the book! The total came to approx $8.50.

Can Canadians buy from Ebay? Lots of good condition used books there.

You can but the method of payment is PayPal and I refuse to use PayPal after they kept removing money from my account for a service I stopped, I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. There is another method called SKRILL but they don't use this for EBay........
