:MapleLeaf: What's even worse Alli, I cant order ebooks for my kindle from Amazon.com and must order them from Amazon.ca. And these ebooks on Amazon.ca are more expensive than the same book on Amazon.com. Maddening. |

You know Kindle allows downloads to several different devices....is it 5? I wonder what would happen if I purchased a book, and then included one of Alli's devices in my 5 - I'd offer Angora, but we never like the same books! :-) |

My copy of Tao of the Meow arrived Friday. The poems are wonderful, but as I am a one finger typist, it would take me a whole day to reproduce one here. |

Seems it works on bigger kitties as well, monks at the Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi, Thailand have them purring in their laps. They still feed them meat, but it is cooked meat - they reckon it is more calming to the temperament. http://youtu.be/Bd3XlriI6EA Edited by Changi, Jun 18 2013, 11:19 PM.

This morning we found a hand carved chess piece from a chess set we bought when we lived in Nigeria (1979 - 1981) on the living room floor. Somehow one of the Spawn carried it up the stairs. We found all but one of the remaining pieces. It was fairly high up on a shelf in the lower level family room. The Spawn had never climbed up there before. We are going to have to rent a storage unit to safeguard all our stuff! |

Duh....ya think so? You thought calling them the Spawn of Satan (note title of this thread) was a term of endearment? Must go. One such spawn just climbed into my lap purring and is scratching the iPad. |

Someone asked for photos of the Spawn with their faces showing. I must say it is really hard to capture them at all, given the constant motion. Anyhow, one of their favorite activities is "helping" DH and I put new linens on the bed. This followed, today, an early morning raid on the trash can in the laundry room and making sure every surface in the house was covered in dryer lint. Posted Image and were finally all worn out..... yes, helping to make the bed is something cats seem to feel is essential. They are gorgeous! (F)red and Ginger. |

I can see why you call them Spawn of Satan; they really have the devil in their eyes. |
