You don't know the half of it. I had been wondering where DH was for the last hour. He just informed me it took him over an hour to get the clothes dryer vent hose back into the dryer. Apparently, the Spawn wanted to check out what was behind the washer and dryer, so knocked over the laundry trash can in ther successful effort to crawl thru the wall side to the back, where we are guessing they got stuck, and I their efforts to turn around, managed to pull the hose out of the dryer. |

Well, a cat's gotta do what a cat's gotta do, and two cats have to do more! |

I once had a set of African ivory chess pieces that were spun like gossamer with a Queen 5 inches high...I know what you are talking about. I have no clue what happened to them 30 years ago....this worries me. Hmmm, there was also an onyx set from Mexico which went into the ether. Maybe it is a chess thing. I thought I better post an update, in case anyone is assuming the Spawn have calmed down and turned into good little kitties. Not a chance! Today's path of destruction included climbing on a tall antique jelly cabinet and throwing a vase that contained dried red and green dogwood stems as well as electricly lighted fake stems down off the cabinet. This is a TALL cabinet. Can cats fly? |

Yes. Or a reasonable facsimile thereof. |

Once a friend came home and found the Christmas tree laying on its side. This happened several days in a row! He couldn't figure out why? Then, while watching TV one night a sparrow flew out of the tree. While he was at work, the cat was trying to catch the bird! |

Obviously the glitzy electrified fake stems offended their highly developed sense of style. |

That explains it! Red and Blue are gay men!! There has been a major breakthru in their behavior. One thing that has always surprised us is given how adventurous and bold they are, when any visitor comes in, they run and hide like true scare-di-cats. Last night we had some friends over for bridge and dinner and both boys were front and center...just charming and friendly. Most of our friends haven't ever seen them yet because they will hide for hours if a stanger is in the house. Can't figure out what was different yesterday. The couple that were here are cat people who have several themselves....but other friends who are cat people haven't evoked the same response. |

My little cat spends her whole day outside she gets annoyed when it rains. But she is a great hunter, I have had many cats over the years but this is the first one that keeps all mice and other rodents out of the house. We don't know where she came from someone dropped her off at 7 months in Oct. How cruel is that. But she has proved a bit expensive but we love her just the same. |
