I cannot abide the hairless cats although they are supposed to be sweet natured. But a neighbor of mine long ago had a Scottish Fold #3 and the cat was really beautiful and lovable. The "fold" comes from ears folded down. I got such a kick out of his efforts to potty train the cat with increasing very expensive cardboard that you made a bigger and bigger concentric hole in with the goal of the cat eventually using the toilet seat. It always worked at first and then at a certain size hole...poop on the floor and another $20 for another piece of cardboard. They moved away and I never learned if the cat ever got the knack of it or whether owner ran out of $20 bills. But a Scottish fold is a very, very pretty cat. One of my cat sitters has a Scottish Fold. So adorable. If I thought that Butter(the Beautiful) would be ok with it, I'd get a Scottish Fold kitten. |

When we had to take Mozzy through Customs in Vancouver the agent told me that Mozzy appeared to be part Abyssinian. I laughed and said he is a short hair tabby to me; however, if they wanted to add a fancy breed to his name that was fine with me. His qualities include swearing at us in Mandarin, great cuddling and making my shoulders look like track marks. |

Posted Image The most metal thing I've ever seen: lions at the zoo are given blocks of frozen blood during Australia's heat wave. |
