Ladybug dines on liverwurst leftover on the stove top. Made me do a double take and get my camera. Roland gets a daily dose of glucosamine wrapped in liverwurst. Of the crumbs remaining on the stove the insect chose the wurst.

I would have assumed the bug was an herbivore, interesting!
I thought it strange until I remembered that they eat aphids.

Ladybugs are used to rid gardens of aphids so definitely not herbivores!

I never realized that ladybugs can bite. Used to play with them as a child and never had a bite but I did get one last month.

The ladybugs we knew as children were ladies. The things that pretend to be ladybugs today do bite... they are hussybugs.
