Northern Biscuit; dog treats

Seems there are more cat owners than dog owners on this forum, but I just have to extoll the benefits of these dog treats which are Canadian made, and all with such good ingredients.

http://northernbiscuit.ca/index.html

While Montana has such soft fur/hair on her head which everyone comments on, I have never felt her actual coat was that soft. However, that all changed once I started giving her Northern Biosnax Shiny Coat Skin and Coat Health Recipe.

They have 12 different biscuits, and the names are so appetizing. And also 4 of the Biosnax for Hip & Joint, Fresh Breath, Shiny Coat and Calm.

Take care,
Pat

Thanks bj. I'll buy them as presents for my granddogs, Bailey (Adrienne's dog) Oona, Poppy, and Rush (Warren's dogs). They'll say thankee Gramma and auntie GG.

The pumpkin pie one smells so good I have been tempted to take a bite, but so far haven't. I do not mind being auntie to kids or pets. Have so many teens who have been calling me Grandma Pat for years.

Take care,
Pat

Hey Dana .... I did it, and the pumpkin pie one does not taste bad at all. Montana looked at me as if to say "Not for you .... this is my treat." They are very thin so not like the Milk Bones.

Take care,
Pat

Once tried home-made (from a craft fair) kittry treats. Not bad, except of course no sugar, as one expects in cookies. Also once (inadvertently) tried a piece of regular cat kibble... eeuugh! Greatly to the amusement of my then 10year old granddaughter.

Oh, do tell us how that happened.

Roland loves almonds but he only gets an occasional one. He is a love bug and would rather have pets from people than receive a bicky.

Whenever I read the topic name I think of horse races. I guess it's the Northern Dancer connection combined with a horse named Seabiscuit. That brings back memories. :)

Thanks Angora for a good 'out loud' chuckle. And what you said makes sense.

Take care,

I once bought a new bowl for my daughter's dog and put some dry dog food in it on the cupboard. My neighbour called with a problem so I went to her house. When I got back I couldn't find the bowl, went in the living room to ask my son-in-law if he had seen it. There he was, watching TV, holding the bowl and half was gone.

He thought it was good and suffered no ill effects.

My sister did something similar with Temptations cat treats. There were a few loose ones on the table, and as she was talking away (she is a good talker) she reached for them as if they were nibbles put out for a guest. I was busy in the kitchen, half-listening, and turned to see her with several in her hand and putting one in her mouth.
