Can someone please go to this SLATE link and tell me if you can figure out how to get rid of that ad overlay. It was PRUDENTIAL this morning. http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2013/07/08/slatest_pm_backlash_in_egypt_dozens_die_in_violence.html?wpisrc=newsletter_jcr:content |

Thanks Bitsy, I took an Flash update yesterday and I suspect I have allowed advertisers to tighten their hold. Schytte. I think I will System Restore my computer to Friday, July 12 and see what happens. edit: Well the Prudential ad is still there but now at least it is to the left of the text, and thus not overlaying it. An upside was getting back my Weather Channeo app, a terrific app, which went kerflooey with an unrequested upgrade to I.E.10...which I still have. So all in all, AOK. Thanks again. When I clicked your link, the ad was different to yours! This is what came up on mine. |

Thanks all. This morning, the Prudential ad is gone...and no other has replaced it. Perhaps people made a fuss. |

If you don't like ads, install Ad Block Plus. It works. |

It looks like only Firefox, Chrome and Opera are fully supported right now. There is a beta for Internet Explorer available here: https://adblockplus.org/en/internet-explorer |

I guess I'll wait on the full rollout for Internet Explorer. <I am alpha male, through and through, and I let my betas do my work for me. :D> THanks Delph. |
