Ever walk out of a store because of bad service? I once left, on their front counter, all that I had gathered for purchase in a local department store. The reason was because of being ignored by the two clerks. They looked at me over their shoulders and carried on with their gossip session which could be clearly heard by any customer. Guess who is out of business now? I related that story one more time this past weekend when talking about customer service with a friend. While taking the 'Super Host' day session years ago, we were told that good stories are usually told to 3 people but bad reviews are shared with others about 26 times, a big difference. Now, with the advent of the internet, bad reviews go a lot further than they used to.
