This morning, I awoke to a commotion in the kitchen. We have a one gallon plastic watering can with a long spout and a smallish hole at the top where the water goes in. Somehow Blue got his head stuck in the hole. He either jumped or fell off the counter and was running around trying to get his head and neck out of the watering can, leaving the water that trickled out everywhere. I finally caught him and freed his head - it was quite a tight fit- but in the process and in our mutual panic he clawed significant skin off two of my fingers, so there was blood mixed in with the water everywhere. John wasn't home. I wrapped my fingers in a towel, called John to come home, and we got my hand bandaged and he cleaned up the blood and water which were everywhere. Blue is soaking wet, but seems OK. But had one of us not been home, he would have drowned or suffocated. They say bad things come in 3's so the rest of this year should be a snap! |

These two of yours seem to have the #1 spot in the Mischief category. Maybe you should consider putting both in an empty room should you both go out. |

BJ: Glad you are both OK. Never thought kittens and trouble go together so well. Do they crate well? I saw this link just before reading your post: http://www.jeffbridges.com/fish.html |

Blue is back to his normal self.....affectionate, naughty and eating us out of house and home. The watering can is now residing outside on the deck. |

Oh BJ, is Blue really that stupid? I don't think he'd risk another of his lives doing that again. laugh123 |
