The windshield wipers on my Honda do not turn off automatically and when they do, will stop in the middle of the window. Often they will not stop for 20 minutes or more. Turns out the motor needs replacing in the wiper assembly. I didn't even know there was a motor. The part is on order for next week.

While reading online I see that this is a TSB for my 2007 Honda Civic EX. . It only will be repaired free of charge if you are on warranty. It is not like a recall. The cost to replace the motor is around 300.00 with labor.
My BIL says I should demand that the dealer fix this free of charge as it is a safety issue. From what I understand a TSB is mostly there for the mechanics so they will know what to look for when a certain problem comes up.

Has anyone ever had a TSB paid for by a dealer?

Worse car I ever had was a Chrysler Caravan, bought new, seemed to be in the shop more than out, and always needed to go in at the most inconvenient time.

We had an old Javelin when the kids were small and every time you would drive through even a shallow puddle, it would flood the brakes. Loved the feel of that car though. You really felt the road, not like today's cars . Nice thing about the old cars is that guys with a bit of shop knowledge could take them apart with a wrench and tinker with them.
