Uh, Bush created more of those poor people with the Great Recession of 2007. And whenever I ask someone "give me ONE good reason to vote Republican" the silence is deafening.

I still don't understand the animosity. I voted for Obama and I'm not poor, on food stamps, on Medicaid and so on.

Well I don't know about you Bitsy but I hear the beat of the war drums.

Campy, you have confused "Omama wants to go to Syria", which is what I responded to, and preparing to intervene if a successful course can be agreed upon. He has had other opportunities over the last couple of years to 'go to Syria' if that is what he wanted.

This is but one of many articles on his reluctance to intervene but I know that you don't read newspapers so I understand why you might be confused.

Quote:

Why has the Obama administration been so reluctant to intervene in Syria? There are a host of reasons -- American fatigue with war, President Barack Obama's disinclination to start another conflict in the Middle East, and the splintered, fractured opposition to Bashar al-Assad.

But one reason looms large: al Qaeda.

Bitsy.

You may read a lot of newspapers but the ones you read are biased. You need some contrast which is what i provide.

So I think it's you who is confused when it comes to Obama and Syria.

If he didn't want to intervene in Syria he should just keep quiet.

That's what I think a lot of Americans would like to see.

Harper is not keeping quiet, why should Obama?
Because one is a world power with nuclear weapons perhaps?

Obama wants to go into Syria and WILL. The Republicans want to go into Syria.
They have their marching orders from the oil companies who paid to get them into office.

It's the "New World Order" and has been the rule of the game since 1945 but was only put into words by Daddy Bush.

It doesn't matter which dimwit is in the White House at the time or how often they trade off the baton.

Campy, which newspapers that I read do you consider bias?

You don't even read newspapers so whatever contrast you think you provide is from very dubious sources.

You may think what you will but Obama has been reluctant to intervene in Syria from the beginning.

That shows how ill-informed you are, Campy, he was quiet until Thursday. He has been widely criticized for his silence. UK, France, Canada leaders spoke out prior to Obama weighing in.

How absurd. Americans don't want silence from their president. Is that a Canadian thing, Campy; you don't want to know where our country stands in regard to Syria?
