Our Lives Have Gone to the Dogs - wonderful story of pet rescue

Last night I received the following from one of my dog loving friends. While she mentions the videos on Youtube causing her to cry, they are not featured here. The book is full of happy stories about dogs, and yes quite a few cats/kittens as well, as well as a few other critters.

It took me about an hour to read it, and the only real sadness I felt was that so many end up in shelters and would be euthanized were there not people like Eldad and Audrey Hagar.

Eldad is my go to guy when I want to have a good cry and to watch the rescue and re-homing of dogs off the streets of LA on you tube.

If you have a few minutes take a look at his book online and all the photos of the dogs he and his wife have saved, they are an amazing couple.

Just scroll down and it says "click here to read the book on your PC" lots of lovely photos....Jo

Eldad Hagar is one special kind of guy. It is amazing how he transformed a small frightened abandoned dog in a matter of 20 minutes.

And I just had to add this one that had me in tears, but what a happy ending, and a perfect example of how wonderful Pit Bulls can be.

His videos always make me sad, though I am glad there are people who help these poor creatures.

Isn't it so sad that people move away and just abandon their pets. I'll never understand how people can be so cruel. To a dog or cat we are their everything.

Take care,
Pat

Cats I think can often survive, though not necessarily live well. It's hard for dogs.
