I just downloaded the Opera browser. What a difference in speed. If your computer is slowing to a crawl, try Opera. I have it on my desktop now and my tablet. I suppose when you load up Internet Explorer or Firefox there are all kinds of stuff loaded into memory. I keep getting messages that those browsers are using a lot of memory and the recommendation is to shut down and restart. I have Windows XP. The opera browser seems to be lightning fast compared to IE or Mozilla especially on the WWS site. |
