Posting photos with WIN7

A while ago, Fuzzy taught me how to post photos without having to save the photo to a photo sharing service.

I would post the photo to Facebook from my computer, then tap on the photo in Facebook and a screen would appear containing information including properties. I would then copy the properties, hit the "image" button here ( or on other sites), paste in what I copied and presto, the image would appear in my post.

I have never been able to do that with my iPad. Whatever comes up, I might get a URL for someone to click on to my Facebook page, but never the actual image.

Now, with my WIN 7 computer, when I tap on a photo, I can see the "properties" but WIN 7 will not let me copy them! Or cut them lie I used to be able to do with WIN XP.

Any ideas?

Trying again by copying shortcut:

Here is an example of my copying a URL from Facebook and posting it in the image button here:

Trying again, this time leaving in the duplicate http://

OK. That was using Photobucket, but not the URL I used to use with WIN XP. I had to use the direct link and delete the extra http.

But why can I not copy the properties with WIN 7 the way I used to with WIN XP and leave photobucket out of the equasion?

Those are really nice, I would like one like that.

Sorry BJ, Sometimes people put pictures on that others can see but I cannot, I think it has to do with some of the settings on my computer.

I couldn't see anything till post #6. I use Windows 7 BJ and I do it the original way, right clicking on the photo then clicking on Properties, highlighting the Address, then right-clicking to copy.

I believe you, Fuzzy. But when I right click on a photo , the box that used to appear with XP and had a number of different pieces of info of which prperties was only one, doesn't appear; only a wide horizontal box that says "Properties: and then a string of code" and I cannot copy that string of code. It will not highlight or anything else.

Can any Facebook user confirm wether or not that feature still works?
I doubt very much if Win 7 makes a browser web page operate differently.
That extra http thing with Photobucket happened to me last time, too - using Firefox in XP. Photobucket is always playing around with their site. Or maybe I chose a different type of link by accident.

O.K. You should be able to copy the photo to your desktop.

If you right click on a photo do you get a 'Print' option?

If you do. Then clicking on it should bring up a "Printing Wizard"

Delphi I never use Photobucket or any outside link and can print any photo I have saved with the Print Wizard.

There should be a similar option in Win 7.

To copy to the forum I use the built in attachment when posting by choosing the file saved as a .JPG.

BJ it has to be a matter of choosing some sort of option somewhere, but I don't know where.

I have the same box that BJ has, and am trying different items in the box to see if one of them works. I have WIN7 also and do not have properties in the box.
