After a' restore' on my windows 8 system I have lost my toolbar on my MSN homepage. Is it hidden somewhere or do I need to download it again? |

Which toolbar have you lost ? Is it with Internet Explorer ? If it's with IE, open IE, put your cursor into the top area (usually blue), right click, and you'll see all the things you can have shown with your browser. Things like Menu bar, Favourites bar, Command bar, Status bar.. and probably your missing toolbar. Put a check mark beside it, and close. |

Mine come and go mysteriously and LOCK THE TOOLBAR seems to have no meaning whatsoever. I blame CASPER. Edited by Trotsky, Oct 22 2013, 01:40 PM.

Locking the toolbar just locks your toolbar arrangement into place, so you can't move it around on your browser. After you "lock" the toolbar, the move and resize bars at the side of the toolbars are gone so have become fixed in place. Check and uncheck it, and you'll see what I mean. |

I E? Click on View. Select the toolbars you want. Oops view is on that line. Right click on a blank spot and look for Menu Bar. Menu Bar brings it back. |

Yes, Thanks. I have IE and use MSN as a home page right now. I notice you can download a related toolbar that they recommend. Is that going to give me more options than just the ones I have clicked on? Thanks. |

Try it. It can't hurt. It will probably give you another search engine like Bing. Edited by campy, Oct 23 2013, 04:32 AM.
