CUNNING LINGUAL DIFFERENCE No dictionary has been able to adequately explain the difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED. In a recent conference held in London, England, attended by some of the world's finest linguists, Samsundar Balgobin, a Guyanese, was the clear winner. He was challenged thus: "Some say there is no difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED. Please explain the difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED in a way that is easy to understand." Here is his astute answer: "When you marry the right woman, you are COMPLETE. When you marry the wrong woman, you are FINISHED. And, if the right one catches you with the wrong one, you are COMPLETELY FINISHED!" His answer received a standing ovation lasting over 5 minutes. Take care, Pat |

It was obviously spoken by a skilled cunning linguist indeed. Very few men learn the skill properly. |

I hear it takes the GREATEST skill with a steep learning curve to become an adequate cunning linguist, for a man that is. For some reason the skill comes easier for women. |
