Enjoy the latest generation of inflight entertainment on enhanced definition 18-inch touch-screens with a touch control handset. Delight in Lavazza espresso at 35,000 feet in newly designed cabin interiors.

All this and much more to discover aboard Boeing’s revolutionary new aircraft featuring the latest in cabin comfort and anti-jet lag technologies.

Air Canada’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft officially joins the fleet in April 2014.

Interesting. DS flew on one of those with Air Ethiopia a few months ago. They have a video and lots of pictures, too: http://www.ethiopianairlines.com/en/info/787_ethiopian.aspx

Those big screens look great! Now if only we could browse WWS while flying.

What a huge plane! I wonder if they are pushing their luck a little with that size? I have only flown Westjet in the last decade and they just have the little Boeing 737. It will soon be crossing the Atlantic, Newfoundland to Ireland.

What irks me is that I can fly to London and Paris for less than I can fly to Vancouver and Calgary in my own country.

How come they can charge so much less to fly so much farther than to fly inside our country?

Is it regulations of some sort?

Good question! Maybe lack of competition inside Canada?

Its probably because the government has taxed the fares to death! If you slip over to the US, where they fly the same planes and pay the same price for gas, its much cheaper!
