Must be my Texas roots but ice is a necessity for me, even drink my gin martini's are on the rock, and the colder the beer the better.

Gin and tonic was my drink back in the good old days. I never liked scotch but have a friend who drinks it with black coffee. Go figure. Sounds like instant heartburn to me.

I must be Texan too, Bitsy. I like everything cold, cold. Drink martinis straight up but they have to be shaken with ice until they are frigid. I keep the gin in the freezer. My cousin, Texan also, drinks everything with ice. She horrified restaurants in Greece by ordering her wine with ice. :)

Glad to know that I am in such good company, I have been told that I would raise many eyebrows in Europe. I have even been known to pour my beer over ice laugh123
