We are confirmed for Orchestra Seats for THE MESSIAH tomorrow. It is being done by Musica Sacra in a little house you might have heard of: CARNEGIE HALL.

We tried to go last year but as Judy Collins might say "but life got in our way."

I'm really excited...I will have to restrain myself from singing along.

Last MESSIAH was at St. John the Divine Cathedral long ago...and before that at Lehigh University...back in the stone age.

Refrain from singing along? I thought that was the point!

No...seriously....the Philadelphia orchestra did the Messiah every year and the whole point was to go to the concert to sign along!

Just a wee bit green here.
I stay that way, FuzzyO, with each of Trotsky's outings.

There's a hell'a'va lot of miles between choruses ..... I prefer Blake's "Jerusalem"!

"And did those feet in ancient time" is a short poem by William Blake from the preface to his epic Milton a Poem, one of a collection of writings known as the Prophetic Books. The date of 1804 on the title page is probably when the plates were begun, but the poem was printed c. 1808. Today it is best known as the anthem "Jerusalem", with music written by Sir Hubert Parry in 1916. Source Link
