Just got tickets for next Saturday for a new MACBETH production at Lincoln Center starring Ethan Hawke. John Glover plays the witch.

I haven't seen "the Scottish play" in a long time. laugh123
I look forward to it.

Enjoy. Not one of my favourites but better than the comedies, in my estimation.

Spot, Spot, you naughty Dalmation! 527

Some years ago now I was involved in a 'modern' version, complete with weapons and blank ammo from our Cadet Corps armoury - Rifles, LMGs and SMGs.

The production was quite something and Ethan Hawke a very adequate Macbeth but I have the hots for the McDuff played by Daniel Sunjata, whom I am lately seeing in everything. Sound system was other-worldly. Lady MacBeth, Anne-Marie Duff, was a bit slight although beautiful. I always picture Lady Mabeth as a Brunnhilde type.

But gosh, theater tickets were one price: $147. I don't know who can afford that kind of stuff on a regular basis.
We got third row, $3. God bless the senior centers and my busy-as-a-bee partner who pretty much runs the place.
