Many years ago after returning home for a New Year's celebration, I caught a movie hosted by Sylvia Tyson about John Lennon's Live Peace in Toronto. I recorded it in the VCR. Then this past new years, as I was flicking through the stations in search of the Royal Canadian Air Farce New Year's special I ran across John Lennon NYC and Imagine playing on Knowledge Network. I remember these movies playing every year just like the Sound of Music being played at Christmas time. What is the relationship of John Lennon to New Year's day (besides his famous song as there is hardly any reference to it in these movies)? |

I just did an internet search of the dates. They married in March and their Bed Ins were in Amsterdam (March) and Montreal (May). So nothing to do with New Years either. |
