Last night, DH and I caught up on "Blacklist" which is the new James Spader TV show that we really like. In it Spader plays a mysterious character that is both charming and brutal, as seen in the cold blooded murders he committed in this week's episode, and his character is named "Reddington," or "Red" for short. Notice the similarity? So now our Red is officially "Reddington" or "Red" for short. Once we had this name for "Red" it took only seconds for DH to come up with "Bluebeard the Pirate" for Blue, or "Blue" for short. So our Spawn of Satan are now Reddington and Bluebeard, or Red and Blue for short. Everyone happy now? |

First time I have heard of names being sought/found to match nicknames, usually is the other way round. |

I was thinking HECKLE and JECKLE. Or BEELZEBUB and MOLOCH? Edited by Trotsky, Jan 17 2014, 01:58 AM.

Sorry I just cannot figure out how to post an actual photo from my iPad. We are in wilsonville Oregon and tomorrow plan to make it to Medford or Ashland, then to Lodi, then just southeast of Bakersfield, and then to Desert Hot Springs. There is no sales tax in Oregon. Wish we needed something! Not even on booze! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152145429067940&set=a.10151424230152940.508653.696677939&type=1&relevant_count=1 This is how the boys travel. It's an enclosed playpen the base of which is page enough to cover the queen size bed. Even with food, water, toys and soft little beds in it, they are NOT happy. |

Not big enough for them to launch a destructive attack on anything. They'll be happier when they are free to tackle the whole interior of the RV. |

Well, we are awake after our first night in the RV with Reddington and Bluebeard.....or should I say "still awake" as guess what happens when active kitties do not get to run around all day? Yep.....they run around all night! I don't think I got even two hours of sleep. One or the other of them would jump on us, I would pull him under the covers to cuddle and he would purr for 10 or 15 minutes and then squirm his way out. I would just be dozing off and the other would make an appearance. I wanted DH to sleep as he is the one who drives, but he says he didn't get much sleep either. They absolutely hate the halter and leashes, so I really think they are better off in the playpen.... Any suggestions? |

My sympathy, I would not drive if tired, too dangerous. Take it is small drives and rest a lot. The only way to get them to accept the halters and leashes is to keep putting them on and they will learn that they have to have them. If you are not consistent they will continue their antics. JMHO I figure you two give in to them too much and they know that. Please don't shoot the meseenger. laugh123 |

:wineglasssmile.gif: :winking71: In my next life I want to come back as either Red or Blue owned by BJ or as Phebes who is owned by Kelly and Al of the Bayfield Bunch. |
