Hello everyone, I just joined & after introductions, of course zoomed here 1st since animals are mostly my life (apart from loving hubby of course biggrin 04 ) We have rescue bunnies, guinea pigs, skinny pigs, various birds, hamsters, rats, our dog & cat. We have our 4 beautiful, aging ducks out back, our turtle & Oscar (in separate tanks). We love them all, they're a heck of a lot of work & money but worth it. All live in large, homemade pens & have lots of exercise. Yes, the birds too of course. Thank you for reading, just wanted to mention what takes up most of my life, ha ha. |

Welcome Paula. What is a skinny pig? Fantastic to hear that you can care for so many animals. |

Sounds exactly what my daughter wants to do if she ever finds a life partner and gets some stable income. (stable was an unintended scrap of levity) |

Is there any chance of having pictures of your animals? I love them all but they have to be other people's as I am very allergic and must take medication when around them. That is why I ask about pictures. |

Thank you all! I will try to send pics but I use my phone as my computer & I don't think I could upload photos from a phone? As far as stable income Angora, we are definitely not wealthy. Only my hubby works for an income & he doesn't get paid the same each time. Animals can easily put you in debt. Its wonderful your daughter would love to do it though. This catapulted over the years. Our animals are well taken care of & I have routines with them as much as can be routine, ha ha blink 000 Blizzard, a skinny pig is a guinea pig only a little hair on nose & bit on legs. Some people think bald guinea pigs are ugly but I love them to bits! Same as some of our rats, we have a few that are hairless. Take care |

Paula....welcome...you certainly found the right website here to talk about animal rescues as so many of us have been involved with rescue for most of our lives. |
