This is a great example of why I love cats so much. I have had to put Red and Blue on a diet since their annual physical two weeks ago. I have decreased the amount of food I give them at each feeding. It's very hard to do.
When they are hungry, they climb onto my lap and massage me the way infant kittens massage their mothers to produce milk.
Species is irrelevant.
