This is a Canadian talk show on CTV following the lunchtime news. It is much the same as The View except the women do not all yell at the same time (well most days). I decided a while back to give it a try, and find I quite enjoy it. One of the co hosts is off on mat leave so they have been having guest hosts the past few weeks. This week Jann Arden is a co host. While I love her singing, I so enjoy her humour.

The women who host the show are in their early 40s.

Just wondered if anyone else has taken a peek at the show and what they thought of it.

Take care,
Pat

I've caught it a couple of times; it seems to be about pretty shallow stuff. I agree about Jan Arden, she is extremely witty.

Oh, television. How low brow.

I never watch tv except when I am awake.

My TV goes on when I have time to watch some of the shows that are on the PVR. Oh, I did watch the Jays play in Cleveland yesterday and do try to watch the news if I remember.

I often have it on, but have learned to tune it out which of course is absolutely silly. I guess I just like to have some noise.

I had a terrific friend when I worked at the bell who used to tell people that she had a tv but when people came over she kept it in the closet. I loved her so much.

Actually, mostly we don't have tv on. I kicked Bell to the curb, and we now have over the air channels and Netflix, plenty for our needs.

I didn't bother to hook up with a cable company pay excessive amounts of money to watch commercials and other unimportant things thrown in. I have been downloading the shows I generally watch, watch them the same night maybe an hour or two later I'm done delete simple no monthly cable bill......

I've caught bits and pieces of the Social but it's on at a time when I'm not watching TV. I check in on The View and then usually switch channels or turn it off well before it's over. It's like watching a train wreck this year and I only look in because it's Barbara Walters last year and they are going to have some of the past panelists on before she goes. The View seems to be only on to promote crappy reality TV shows these days and they all talk at once.
